The band continued playing Latin Jazz. Then Yolanda Duke (Tito's new invited
salsa singer) came in and took the stage shimmying and singing. She was the
central source of energy fueling the salsa craze that took the Belvoir by
storm. WHAT A SINGER... WHAT A BAND! WHAT A CONCERT. The audience was responding
to Yolanda with a flock of hands. Dancing, participating. Yolanda dedicated
the concert to all the Latin Americans in Perth, specially "LACA"(Latin American
Cultural Association) of Western Australia. THANKS YOLANDA! After one hour
and fifty minutes of continuous music the farewell was hard to swallow.
People asked for more and they got more, but not enough... Articles like these
have been published all over the world praising Yolanda's strong stage presence
and charisma.
